Rear Door Boarding On All Buses
Effective immediately, customers will enter and exit the buses using the rear entrance only to help maintain proper physical distancing. Customers who need assistance may still board through the front door. In order to maintain proper physical distancing, we are not collecting fares at this time.
Once on board, customers are asked to maintain a six-foot distance between themselves and the operator and stagger seating as much as possible to maintain the recommended physical distance.
Buses continue to receive daily disinfection on all high-touch surfaces for the protection of everyone on board. Help us keep everyone safe by limiting non-essential trips to minimize contact with others and by staying home when you’re sick.
While some customers have other transportation options, many of our colleagues, friends, and neighbors rely heavily upon public transit. Foothill Transit is an essential public service, connecting our coworkers, neighbors, and friends and families to vital services, including medical appointments and food shopping. We will continue to provide regular service levels to our community as resources and public health mandates allow.
Foothill Transit is actively monitoring COVID-19 changes and is working with the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health to determine appropriate next steps.
